Here's your chance to pit yourself against 600 Firefighters in a climb up 28 floors wearing 25kgs of Turnout Gear and Breathing Apparatus. This year, the Firefighter's Charity Fund with your help will be climbing to raise $700,000 to aid in the fight against depression, PTSI and suicide. Compete, donate, or sponsor a Firefighter to help the Emergency Services Foundation support mental health initiatives.
Now more than ever mental health needs out attention and support. I’ll do the stairs if you can chuck in a few dollars to help. Organisations like lifeline and the Black Dig Institute rely on donations and volunteers to do their work.
3,046 Australians lose their lives to Suicide each year, so I will climb at least 3,046 steps over the next month from 10th September to the 10th October in my gear :)
Donate now!
So far, I've raised $280 of my $500 fundraising goal.
I've completed 3,346 steps towards our overall goal of 1,000,000 steps.
