Here's your chance to pit yourself against 600 Firefighters in a climb up 28 floors wearing 25kgs of Turnout Gear and Breathing Apparatus. This year, the Firefighter's Charity Fund with your help will be climbing to raise $700,000 to aid in the fight against depression, PTSI and suicide. Compete, donate, or sponsor a Firefighter to help the Emergency Services Foundation support mental health initiatives.
First time I have had the courage to take on the climb, I\’m a big supporter of helping those that battle Depression as I have before, and really want to prevent someone from taking there own life, please support me by helping me raise money for this worthy cause.
9/11 Memorial The Melbourne Firefighter Stair Climb remembers the 343 Firefighters that lost their lives in the line of duty on 11th September 2001.
My stair climb race bib will include the name and photo of FDNY Firefighter Joseph A Mascali in memory of their sacrifice made on that fateful day. Read more about Joseph A Mascali.
So far, I've raised $702 of my $1,000 fundraising goal.
