Here's your chance to pit yourself against 600 Firefighters in a climb up 28 floors wearing 25kgs of Turnout Gear and Breathing Apparatus. This year, the Firefighter's Charity Fund with your help will be climbing to raise $700,000 to aid in the fight against depression, PTSI and suicide. Compete, donate, or sponsor a Firefighter to help the Emergency Services Foundation support mental health initiatives.
Hi everybody! :) On September 6th, I’ll be climbing 28 floors in 25kg of structure kit and BA (with the help of more than a few friends), with the aim of raising $1,000,000 in support of Lifeline, the Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation and the 000Foundation.
At previous events I have spoken with volunteers from these organisations and they are very, very appreciative of your support.
Thanks to our sponsors, 100% of every dollar donated will go to cancer research and crisis support.
As we witness the Black Dog increasingly at work in our community, it is more important than ever that we help those that help others in their darkest moments.
If you feel able to support this effort financially, please give where you can and know that those at Lifeline, the Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation and the 000Foundation will be able to continue their selfless work.
Thank you for your support!
So far, I've raised $200 of my $1,200 fundraising goal.
