Here's your chance to pit yourself against 600 Firefighters in a climb up 28 floors wearing 25kgs of Turnout Gear and Breathing Apparatus. This year, the Firefighter's Charity Fund with your help will be climbing to raise $700,000 to aid in the fight against depression, PTSI and suicide. Compete, donate, or sponsor a Firefighter to help the Emergency Services Foundation support mental health initiatives.
Hi, I’m Aidan, a firefighter from Colac Fire Brigade, and this year I’m taking on the Melbourne Firefighter Stair Climb — 28 floors in 25kg of gear — to raise funds and awareness for mental health, PTSD, and suicide prevention.
Every day, people in our community face battles we can’t always see. This climb is my way of showing support, honouring those we’ve lost, and reminding anyone struggling that they’re not alone.
I’ll be training hard (with my Dalmatian, Flint, as my coach), and every donation helps us take another step toward better mental health support for all.
So far, I've raised $0 of my $1,000 fundraising goal.
