Nathan Quarry

Climbing for TFS Brighton

Member of Tasmania Fire Service past 10 years. First started off at Lenah Valley Fire Brigade, and after 4 years, I transferred to the Brighton Fire Brigade.

I have been fortunate enough to have participated in several large campaign fires, and have been deployed around Tasmania several times,. I have also been deployed to NSW to help with the 2019/2020 bush fires.

I’m attending the Melbourne Firefighter Stair Climb to help fight mental health stigma.

9/11 Memorial
The Melbourne Firefighter Stair Climb remembers the 343 Firefighters that lost their lives in the line of duty on 11th September 2001.

My stair climb race bib will include the name and photo of FDNY Firefighter Peter A Nelson in memory of their sacrifice made on that fateful day. Read more about Peter A Nelson.

So far, I've raised $280 of my $50 fundraising goal.
