Climbing for CFA Bunyip
Hi! My name is Mitch and I’m climbing with Bunyip CFA for this years MFSC.
Setting the bar last year at 7min 35sec I’ve got a time to beat and I am determined to smash it!
I’m going to be climbing “on-air” using Breathing Apparatus, making it harder to breathe, while carrying 25kg of Structural Firefighting Personal Protective Equipment.
These foundations we’re climbing for this year are second to none, and make a major impact in the communities which they operate, with Cancer and Suicide greatly affecting Firefighters and other Emergency Service Workers.
I’m hoping to raise $1000 this year, and would love your support!
9/11 Memorial
The Melbourne Firefighter Stair Climb remembers the 343 Firefighters that lost their lives in the line of duty on 11th September 2001.
My stair climb race bib will include the name and photo of FDNY Firefighter Brian Cannizzaro in memory of their sacrifice made on that fateful day. Search and read more about Brian Cannizzaro.
