Here's your chance to pit yourself against 600 Firefighters in a climb up 28 floors wearing 25kgs of Turnout Gear and Breathing Apparatus. This year, the Firefighter's Charity Fund with your help will be climbing to raise $700,000 to aid in the fight against depression, PTSI and suicide. Compete, donate, or sponsor a Firefighter to help the Emergency Services Foundation support mental health initiatives.
The real stair climb is something I would never consider doing, but this way I can still play my part so during September and October, I’ll be taking part in a million steps for mental health and helping to raise $500,000 to improve support services, fund research, remove stigmas and raise awareness of mental health issues. My goal is to reach 3046 steps (the number of Australians we loose to suicide each year).
Please help me “Step up to fight depression, PTSI and suicide” by sponsoring me below.
So far, I've raised $603 of my $1,000 fundraising goal.
I've completed 3,135 steps towards our overall goal of 1,000,000 steps.
