Here's your chance to pit yourself against 600 Firefighters in a climb up 28 floors wearing 25kgs of Turnout Gear and Breathing Apparatus. This year, the Firefighter's Charity Fund with your help will be climbing to raise $700,000 to aid in the fight against depression, PTSI and suicide. Compete, donate, or sponsor a Firefighter to help the Emergency Services Foundation support mental health initiatives.
Hi, My name is Justin. I have been with the CFA for over 25 years serving various brigades throughout my time. I have been personally touched by mental illness both with myself and loved ones and whole heartedly align myself with the message and values that this event promotes. Looking forward to the climb and meeting fellow emergency service personnel.
9/11 Memorial The Melbourne Firefighter Stair Climb remembers the 343 Firefighters that lost their lives in the line of duty on 11th September 2001.
My stair climb race bib will include the name and photo of FDNY Firefighter Scott M Davidson in memory of their sacrifice made on that fateful day. Read more about Scott M Davidson.
So far, I've raised $385 of my $1,000 fundraising goal.
