Climbing for CFA Chiltern

Hi all for those that don’t know me I’m Josh. I come from a little old country town Called Chiltern located just off the Hume Highway 30km from Wodonga.

This year I have decided to take part in the Melbourne Firefighter Stairclimb which will see me climb 28 floors wearing 25kg of Firefighting Gear, The reason i have chosen to participate in this fund-raiser because the cause I have had a few close friends and family battle with mental illnesses alongside with Cancer. We all know the reality we face when we see our friends and family go through when dealing with something like which is why I thought this was a great cause to get behind.

Thank you for all your donations, all donations help raise money to go towards beneficiaries such as Lifeline, Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation and 000Foundation. I look forward to tackling the climb on September 2nd 2023. Please help me to ”Step up to fight cancer, depression, and suicide” by sponsoring me below.

9/11 Memorial

The Melbourne Firefighter Stair Climb remembers the 343 Firefighters that lost their lives in the line of duty on 11th September 2001.

My stair climb race bib will include the name and photo of FDNY Firefighter Robert J Minera in memory of their sacrifice made on that fateful day. Search and read more about Robert J Minera.

So far, I've raised $450 of my $1,000 fundraising goal.
