Climbing for CFA Connewarre

For the third year running, I’ll be taking part in the Melbourne Firefighter Stair Climb on Saturday 12 September 2026.

Climbing 28 floors in full firefighting gear and breathing apparatus is tough, but that is the point. The climb represents the physical and mental burden many emergency service workers carry throughout their careers.

This event raises vital funds for mental health crisis support, cancer research, and wellbeing programs supporting emergency service personnel and the wider community through organisations including Lifeline, Peter Mac, and the 000Foundation.

As a volunteer firefighter with the CFA, this cause hits close to home. We see the impact that trauma, stress, and cancer can have across emergency services and the community.

If you are in a position to support, even a small donation helps.
Thank you to everyone who gets behind the climb each year.

So far, I've raised $155 of my $1,000 fundraising goal.
