Here's your chance to pit yourself against 600 Firefighters in a climb up 28 floors wearing 25kgs of Turnout Gear and Breathing Apparatus. This year, the Firefighter's Charity Fund with your help will be climbing to raise $700,000 to aid in the fight against depression, PTSI and suicide. Compete, donate, or sponsor a Firefighter to help the Emergency Services Foundation support mental health initiatives.
I’m again participating in the stair climb as in 2018 I done it after overcoming ptsd. The staff and other participants supported me through it as it was a struggle mentally to be in such an environment for the first time after not being able to leave the house for 18months.
Now It’s my turn to give back to the other people who are struggling with mental health!
So far, I've raised $220 of my $1,000 fundraising goal.
I've completed 3,100 steps towards our overall goal of 1,000,000 steps.
