Here's your chance to pit yourself against 600 Firefighters in a climb up 28 floors wearing 25kgs of Turnout Gear and Breathing Apparatus. This year, the Firefighter's Charity Fund with your help will be climbing to raise $700,000 to aid in the fight against depression, PTSI and suicide. Compete, donate, or sponsor a Firefighter to help the Emergency Services Foundation support mental health initiatives.
As a dedicated member of the Phillip Island Country Fire Authority (CFA) for over two years, I am honored to participate in the 11th Annual Melbourne Firefighter Stair Climb on September 7th, 2024. This event symbolizes our commitment to supporting first responders and their families facing significant health challenges. Climbing 28 floors in full turnout gear and breathing apparatus, I am driven by the opportunity to raise vital funds for cancer research and crisis support. With every step, I am reminded of the resilience and strength of our community. Join me in \”Climbing for Cancer Research and Crisis Support\” and making a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
9/11 Memorial
The Melbourne Firefighter Stair Climb remembers the 343 Firefighters that lost their lives in the line of duty on 11th September 2001.
My stair climb race bib will include the name and photo of FDNY Firefighter Robert J Crawford in memory of their sacrifice made on that fateful day. Search and read more about Robert J Crawford.
I was able to raise $231 of my $1000 fundraising goal.
