Here's your chance to pit yourself against 600 Firefighters in a climb up 28 floors wearing 25kgs of Turnout Gear and Breathing Apparatus. This year, the Firefighter's Charity Fund with your help will be climbing to raise $700,000 to aid in the fight against depression, PTSI and suicide. Compete, donate, or sponsor a Firefighter to help the Emergency Services Foundation support mental health initiatives.
๐๐ฅ Step Up to Fight Cancer, Depression, and Suicide! ๐ฌ๐๏ธ
Hi everyone,
On September 7th, Iโll be taking on my fifth year of an incredible challenge: climbing 28 floors while carrying 25kg of gear to raise $750,000 for Lifeline, the Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation, and the 000 Foundation. These organizations are at the forefront of providing crisis support, funding cancer research, and assisting our firefighters.
Your support is more important than ever. Please help me โStep up to fight cancer, depression, and suicideโ by sponsoring my climb. Thanks to our generous sponsors, 100% of every dollar donated will go directly to these crucial causes.
๐ Hereโs How You Can Help:
Sponsor Me: Your donation will directly support cancer research and crisis support efforts.
Spread the Word: Share this post to help raise awareness and encourage others to contribute.
Letโs make this fifth year the most impactful yet! Your support can help change lives and make a real difference.
Thank you for your continued generosity and encouragement. ๐ชโค๏ธ
9/11 Memorial
The Melbourne Firefighter Stair Climb remembers the 343 Firefighters that lost their lives in the line of duty on 11th September 2001.
My stair climb race bib will include the name and photo of FDNY Firefighter Michael H Haub in memory of their sacrifice made on that fateful day. Search and read more about Michael H Haub.
So far, I've raised $250 of my $1,000 fundraising goal.
