🚒 **I’m Climbing Again for a Cause!** 🧗‍♂️
This will be my fourth time tackling the Melbourne Firefighter Stair Climb, and once again I’m asking for your support to help raise $1 million for three incredible organisations:
Lifeline, the Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation, and the 000Foundation.

These groups provide life-saving mental health support, fund vital cancer research, and care for the Emergency Services and Defence communities who put everything on the line for us.

👨‍🚒 I’ve proudly served as an on-call firefighter with Fire and Rescue NSW Albury North 206 for almost 10 years, and as a volunteer with the NSW Rural Fire Service Thurgoona Brigade for over 14 years. Climbing 28 floors in 25kg of gear is tough – but it’s nothing compared to the challenges faced by those we’re supporting.

💛 I’m deeply grateful to my amazing family and my supportive employer, Charles Sturt University, for standing beside me every step of the way.

As a migrant, we’ve been welcomed by our community with open arms. Giving back through service is my way of saying thank you.

9/11 Memorial

The Melbourne Firefighter Stair Climb remembers the 343 Firefighters that lost their lives in the line of duty on 11th September 2001.

My stair climb race bib will include the name and photo of FDNY Firefighter Michael S Carlo in memory of their sacrifice made on that fateful day. Search and read more about Michael S Carlo.

So far, I've raised $1,345 of my $1,500 fundraising goal.
