Here's your chance to pit yourself against 600 Firefighters in a climb up 28 floors wearing 25kgs of Turnout Gear and Breathing Apparatus. This year, the Firefighter's Charity Fund with your help will be climbing to raise $700,000 to aid in the fight against depression, PTSI and suicide. Compete, donate, or sponsor a Firefighter to help the Emergency Services Foundation support mental health initiatives.
Please support me in my fundraising efforts for the very deserving organisations providing lifesaving and critical services to Emergency Service and Defence communities.
This year, with your help, we aim to raise $700,000 for Lifeline, Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation and 000 Foundation to improve support services, fund research, remove stigmas and raise awareness of cancer and mental health issues.
This will be my first time participating in the Melbourne Firefighter Stair Climb.
I have been an on-call firefighter, based at Fire and Rescue NSW Albury North 206 station, for almost 8 years and a NSW Rural Fire Service volunteer, at Thurgoona Rural Fire Brigade, for more than 11 years.
I am extremely passionate about serving and protecting the community that welcomed us, with open arms, as migrants..
Thank you for your support!
So far, I've raised $365 of my $1,000 fundraising goal.
