What an opportunity to take the climb virtual!
The Melbourne stair climb is always a highlight of the year for myself and the crew at Mooroolbark, so it’s a shame not to be able to make it this year.
However the ability to go online is absolutely amazing. Especially at a time when mental health in Melbourne, and indeed across the world, has never been more important.
I respect the current environment is a bad one to be asking for donations, however the amazing organisations represented by these climbs rely on exactly them to do the phenomenal work that they do day in and day out.
As such I ask you all that you spare whatever you possibly can, to put some money towards the furtherment of important and vital mental health causes.
As I say every year, every dollar counts, and every dollar is appreciated.

9/11 Memorial
The Melbourne Firefighter Stair Climb remembers the 343 Firefighters that lost their lives in the line of duty on 11th September 2001.
My stair climb race bib will include the name and photo of FDNY Firefighter Kevin W Donnelly in memory of their sacrifice made on that fateful day. Search and read more about Kevin W Donnelly.
