Climbing for CFA Seville
Hi everyone,
I am returning to the stairs for the 3rd time! Although this time is more personal than previous years.
For those who may not know me and have found one of my posters, my Name is Adam Campbell and am with Seville Fire Brigade.
In BA and wearing 25kg of gear I am helping raise awareness and funding to support 3 deserving charities, with 3 good friends to me this year needing either Mental health support and a beneficiary of the great work Peter Mac does.
It has made me more aware than ever we need to be able to have that support base when times are darkest or just seems like it’s getting too hard to manage.
Please if you are reading this, have dig into your spare change if you can spare it for a cause which may support a friend or family member in a time of need. As a member of Seville CFA we don’t just put out fires or attend incidents. We are a community and social group that looks after one another, families and community in need. If I can help generate some funds for these charities by putting myself through a short bit of suffering but also fun it is worth it.
9/11 Memorial
The Melbourne Firefighter Stair Climb remembers the 343 Firefighters that lost their lives in the line of duty on 11th September 2001.
My stair climb race bib will include the name and photo of FDNY Firefighter Richard A Prunty in memory of their sacrifice made on that fateful day. Search and read more about Richard A Prunty.
So far, I've raised $150 of my $1,000 fundraising goal.
